Supply Security Assurance

During the period of 01.10.2023 – 30.09.2025, Universal Industries OÜ will implement a supply security project named “Universal Industries Supply Security Assurance (20.2.02.23-0159)”.

The aim of the project is to transition the company’s economic activities from fossil fuels to renewable energy sources. As a result of the project implementation, the company will commence the transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy sources, significantly enhancing the company’s sustainability and supply security.

The project’s outcome will include the installation of a 900 kWh solar energy park on the roof of the Tapa production building; -The establishment of an inverter substation for converting the direct current generated by the solar energy park into alternating current (including optimizing system productivity and ensuring supply security), and the installation of battery systems to prevent potential supply disruptions and ensure supply security.

Funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU with a grant of 360,000 €.
